Painted Mini Bull

Mini Jersey Bull bottle calf.

Painted. 50% chance A2 and polled.

Deposits Required to Hold

Born March 3rd at 23 1/2 inches tall. Will likely mature tall mini to mid-sized.

Sired by our 43″ painted Jersey cow “Minnie” and registered painted, heterozygous polled, A2, under 38″ Jersey bull, “Keely’s Samson”. Both are pictured.

His dam produced 2-3 gallons on twice a day milking. We switched to once a day milking during her dry period, so we are unsure what her production will be now.

She is mostly Jersey, but is obviously cross with something somewhere. So just be aware, he is not pure Jersey either.

He has a 50% chance of being polled and a 50% chance of being A2/A2 by parentage.

He is currently being bottle fed and has received his dam’s colostrum.

He should be able to be registered in a mini Jersey registrar if you desired.

As a bull, he could be used on mini – standard sizes. If wanting him intact he should be switched to bucket feeding or grafted onto a cow.

If not wanting to use him for breeding, he should be banded.

As a steer, he’d make a fancy, reasonable sized pet.
